[important]Before volunteering at Roberts or attending any school event other than lunch or parent conferences, everyone must be registered with the HISD’s new RAPTOR Volunteer Management System, which runs an annual background check. [/important]
All volunteers must register online and pass an annual criminal background check before they can participate as a volunteer. Please follow the steps below to become VIPS
- Register online here, and create a user name and password. After completing the online registration, you will receive a confirmation email to your email address.
- An email will be sent to your email address informing you of your background check status
- Once you are CLEARED to volunteer, you are eligible to volunteer in HISD schools.
